In the recent draw – seventh draw, a total of 925 invitations were granted and the least score was 469 for CRS. This represents that after the fourth draw, is in series in which Citizenship and Immigration Canada has selected a part of candidates who doesn’t have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada or a provincial nomination during their selection process. The initial four draws from the Express Entry pool were made between 31 January and 27 February 2015, and selected candidates who hold a valid job offer or provincial nomination.
The federal government continues to conduct frequent draws from the Express Entry pool and applicants with no provincial nominations or employment offers continue to be picked. The most recent draw is the first time in which the count of ITAs granted decreased, and points increased, when compared to previous draw. The recent draw is the first case of a rise in the lowest number of CRS points required in order to be picked, relative to earlier draw.
